Every member of staff will know how this feels – internet down, computer screen frozen, buffering symbol is endlessly circling…
Year 6 at were so patient recalls Mrs Waters as she tried repeatedly to load her presentation on how to improve writing.
“We waited a while and it got a bit boring,” one pupil commented, “but it turned out to be the best thing as we went outside to edit our writing instead!”
Mrs Waters took her class to the literacy wall on the playground and children set about using the wide range of resources to improve their work.
“I’ve never known them so keen to edit and they did it really well too!” Mrs Smith – Year 6 SEN Teaching Assistant.
